In 1 Corinthians 13, we find several references to prophecy or prophesying. So far I have not really dealt with this subject as such.
One of the bloggers I am following in my reader has recently published two posts on “Understanding prophecy”. Today I am sharing with you the first one of these topical bible studies.
“Biblical Christianity Blog” is published several times a week. I do greatly appreciate that the writer does quote relevant bible texts in full. So you do not need to look up scripture references in your bible in order to understand or to evaluate his line of argument. After all, the words of the bible are far more likely to help us trust in God than cleverly devised human arguments.
Reading these posts does require some time. Although I do not manage to read all the texts on this blog, I have experienced a sense of satisfaction when I did.
“Understanding Prophecy (Part 1)” took me one hour. The author is dealing with various aspects of this topic.
